BPP WELCOMES JEFF ANDERSON, PLANT-MICROBE INTERACTIONS

Jeff comes to us from the Department of Biochemistry, Bond Life Sciences Center, University of Missouri-Columbia where his research has focused on plant-derived chemical signals that initiate virulence responses of the bacterial pathogen Pseudomonas syringae during infection. His lab will primarily use the model Pseudomonas syringae-Arabidopsis pathosystem, with a combination of genetics, functional genomics, metabolite analyses and proteomics to investigate responses in both pathogen and host.

We welcome Jeff to the department, and wish him well as he embarks on his career in Oregon.
