BPP WELCOMES JEREMIAH DUNG, PLANT PATHOLOGIST

 

Most recently Jeremiah was Post-doctoral Scholar at Hermiston Agricultural Research and Extension Center, working on the epidemiology and management of ergot, caused by the fungus Claviceps purpurea, in perennial Kentucky bluegrass and perennial ryegrass grown for seed. His research interests include population genetics, epidemiology, and management of fungal and fungus-like plant pathogens; diseases in perennial crops and natural ecosystems.

We are pleased to welcome Jeremiah as our newest tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology.
