RUTH STOCKEY, GAR ROTHWELL AND STUDENT DESCRIBE NEW FOSSIL FERN

The work explores the paleo-biogeographic significance the newly described Lower Cretaceous species, Osmundacaulis whittlesii, in the Northern Hemisphere distribution of Early Cretaceous (~136 Million years ago) ferns, and the overall pattern of phylogeny for the family Osmundaceae.
