Research and Extension Area: Diagnosis and disease management in vegetable and field crops.

  • Primary interests include pathogen biology and disease management. Research emphasis is on the integration of cultural and chemical practices with alternative strategies, such as biopesticides, for suppression of diseases in field and vegetable crops. Current research projects include studies on diseases that affect hop, hemp, and specialty seed production of vegetables, flower, and field seed crops. My current emphasis is soilborne Fusarium diseases of specialty crops and row crops, hemp pathology, and black leg on crucifer crops.
