Override Requests

• All override requests must be approved by course instructor. Course enrollment may be limited by laboratory space or other capacity restrictions. Unrecognized transfer biology series may require a prerequisite override.
• Submitting an override request does not guarantee approval. Requests may take up to 3-5 business days to process. Students will be notified via email when the request has been processed and, if approved, they may then register.
• Please submit all override requests using the Botany Override Request Form. All other inquires can be sent to [email protected]

  • Refer to the OSU “Scheduling Contacts” list for the departmental contact for course override requests: https://registrar.oregonstate.edu/scheduling-contacts. In your email include:
    • OSU student ID number
    • Full name
    • Course subject and number (ex. WR 222)
    • CRN and any additional CRNs (for a connected lab or recitation)
    • Why the override is needed
